Deep Tissue Massage is exactly as it sounds. It's aimed at the deeper tissues of the muscles called connective tissue. The procedures and movements in Deep Tissue massage are generally the same as those of Swedish Massage, but they are more intense. It's also a more focused type of massage as the therapist works to help release serious muscle tension and knots
